Fab place to get a true feel of what Macintosh could achieve as a designer, hard to believe it was so long ago. Due to so much reference available this is a true replication and quite fascinating ! Coffee shop great too
We visited 7 heritage type properties in England this holiday, belonging to different organisations, most of them National Trust with lots of money and resources and yet this was one of the best, partly because of what it is, particularly because of our really good guide, John who brought the stories alive, the helpful staff and the tearoom. If you're going up or down the motorway, do stop here!
Great place to visit and staff very helpful and friendly. From a wheelchair user's point of view I found it quite good; you can see they have really tried with what they have done. They do need a new portable ramp as the one they have isn't great. They have a lift to most floors and an accessible toilet.
