love getting a cuppa after a walk around the park, sometimes a cake and sometimes a takeout tea to drink on my way around. Staff were great
The location is fab, but this visit wasn't great, I know the cafe can't control the weather but I was so so cold I couldn't relax and enjoy my lunch, I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans. The food here is usually really good but my beans were warm not hot and they didn't close the door, presumably to appear open but closing a door on every other restaurant and cafe with an open sign doesn't seem to fail. It just ruined this experience for us but I'm not saying it's a bad cafe. There's plenty if choice for hot and cold drinks, cakes snacks pastries and panini's chips plus plenty more. There is a toilet facility and the cafe is clean. The staff are friendly.
The best thing is that dogs are allowed!!! I loved being able to come here for a coffee with my dog after walking her. It's a great opportunity for dogs to socialise too. I was a bit unclear of dogs are allowed inside when ordering, but no one told me otherwise.Latte was great and I also really enjoyed my scone.
Great location but the menu does not reflect the Park location and the likely customer base.It is more in line with a Bistro than a family cafe day out.We spent nearly 30 and yet only had coffee's and a snack with our two grandchildren (both under 5)!On the plus side, Buddy Holly tribute on Sunday afternoon in the Bandstand was great!
