To Advanti,I hope in future you make this clearer to customers. I also hope that you take out insurance with yourselves and have a berevment in your family. Only then can you understand how it may feel not only to lose a loved one but also the fact that such a wonderful trip not only was taken away from you due to the berevment but also that your policy you took out isn't worth it! I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. I wish I could go further with my complaint, as I thought what I signed wasn't what is stated it seems to be different in the small print! Be aware to read the fine print as they may rip you off!!!
Avoid. Only in the small print do you see that you will have to use the local equivalent of the NHS, rather than have the right to see a private doctor. Absolutely not what you would expect from holiday insurance.
I used Avanti travel insurance last year and suffice to say I am using them again this year. Their pricing for a man with heart problems wishing to visit the USA are the best and the service is great.
I have been very satisfied with all my travel insurance with Avanti for a few years now since I found them. As a 'senior citizen' with a few age related problems , I do not have to pay the earth as I did with other insurers, & I am covered for all my needs at what I consider to be a reasonable cost, I have passed on Avanti to members of my family & they are satisfied too. I have cover for three holidays this year already, if you get excellent service why change it.
I was recommended to Avanti Travel insurannce by my Travel Agent who had seen their advert in the JC. Because of my age ( Senior citizen + !) and medical history I naturally expected the premium quoted to be high.Instead of this I was more than pleasantly surprised with the quote which was extremely reasonable.You of course need to quote your medical history in full etc.The lady who gave me the quote was extremely helpful and as promised the documents arrived swiftly in the post.You can of course have the option of receiving them via E-mail.I would thoroughly recommend Avanti Insurance.
