Went to see The Floyd Effect, most impressive. The Roadmender is a ok venue, drinks are not over priced, but the toilets are on the poor side.
Been to Roadmender a couple times before, good amount of events here for all ages and music fans. Several stages which also adds to the variety of stuff going on. Drink prices are somewhat reasonable and good staff.
Large queue to go in however I did attend on NYE. Cool smoking area upstairs. The floor is amazing - you can feel the bass in your legs!
Good well organised staff facilities kept clean. Polite and friendly service. security staff excellent customer service
I am a long term fan of the Roadmender and been going since the 70s. Relatively small venue most recently watched Heaven 17 and their top quality live show. Been there and done the big bands but will always prefer a small venue where you can see the whites of their eyes The Roadmender always punches above its weight with the quality of the bands and long may it remain that way
