Freindly atmosphere and bouncers as didn't have the right dress code to get in with my family but they let me in for a pint
Very cosy pub, few extra than the normal tap largers but always have lots of ales to choose from, even some local beers. Really nice Sunday lunch, live music and good for sports but doesnt over power the pub unless it's a big event. Would recommend if you want a chilled pint during the week or early on the weekend but will get busy on a Friday and Saturday night.
Nice pub with an old-world feel. The garden is awful, frankly. Good selection of real ales and gins. Great if you like the rugby. However, if you don't... Just avoid game day
A good solid town pub. Popular with local rugby supporters, so always busy on a home game Saturday. I'd like the kitchen to be open longer, but there you go.... Great fish finger sandwich.
I had an enjoyable night out here. The staff were competent, but we're not too keen on me being tea- total. Apart from that, I still enjoyed the night. I especially liked the 80's theme( music, posters). It seemed quite popular and attracted a fair crowd. A big screen TV in the back and garden area, so you could sit outside. Music can play a little loud.
