Great rugby pub. Excellent choice of beers and good service. Entertainment in large tent at the rear of the pub on many game days.
Absolutely brilliant, bar staff so good at their job , beer good and the cheesy chips are yummy don't pass this pub!
Fantastic pub! Enjoyed a great meal; steak cooked to order, very tasty and accompanied by good chips - a rarity; crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and again, flavoursome. An abundance of mushrooms and tomatoes At a very reasonable 10. My wife had a superb pizza, vegetarian that would have earnt the respect of Neapolitan pizzeria; thin, light base, generous, interesting topping. We were made to feel welcome in an unobtrusive, down to earth way, by the locals. A great selection of well kept beers. The only red wine on offer, a good robust Shiraz.Clean, but "pubby", I wish I lived around the corner rather than 80 miles away. Thanks for the generous hospitality.
