I cant think of anything nice to say about the holiday park. It's a very run down 70s holiday park with very little to do. Alot of the facilities where closed. There is one shop and a rundown club house with poor local entertainment. There is a new pool but we only got to use it for one hour due to it being busy. I would AVOID booking a holiday here and would not use the marina .
My partner stayed here for two months while she was looking for a house, the place is fantastic, there is everything you could want and more!
A nice enough place to spend a day but take a picnic because there is a very limited choice of places to eat. There is a shop for crisps and drinks and stuff, I think it has the odd sandwich in but the places that used to sell burgers and hotdogs and stuff weren't there. Maybe they are during the summer holidays but not on a sunny, hot Sunday in July when we went. We had the option of a carvery or nothing. The carvery wasn't one I'd recommend.
The site needs a real tidy up. Not much entertainment. This place used to buzz. Needs a rethink guys!.
Not a bad place to have a walk around the lakes..Mainly for residents of park..passes needed to enter the bar areas..if you do buy a caravan down there, they are quick enough to take your money..but then all corresponding stops !!
