Can't beat this shop if you have a daughter who loves arts and crafts it's just perfect
Still good but it seems to have shrunk it's range. Beads were very limited. Very middle of the road now. Nothing different but good for regular stuff
Easy parking, large shop. Only problem (if you consider it a problem) is that there's too much choice. It takes a long time to find what you want and then to decide.
Had been given a voucher for my birthday so had 30 to spend. I decided to buy oil paints with the money so I checked online to make sure that the white and colours I wanted were in stock at the Northampton branch. The white I wanted and 2 of the colours were not on the shelf, also the ones there I wanted were not priced, I looked around to see if there were any assistants, there weren't. I again checked online where it said all the colours were in stock, I went to the lower flour and found 1 assistant who was helping everyone she said that if they weren't out they didn't have them. I queued to pay and the lady on the till was answering people who were asking questions while she served me and was going to overcharge me 10. I am not complaining about the staff they are brilliant considering what is expected of them but the store which was not good.
A great one-stop shop for all your crafting needs and beyond, to a certain extent. Our visit was for cake decorating edibles and the vast array of icings, embellishments and tools available to buy is difficult to beat.One criticism is that the pricing can sometimes be a little out - we had been on the lookout for some crafting Scrabble-type letters, which are readily available across the internet. Whilst Hobbycraft had the item, they were a bit more expensive than online but not necessarily of an obvious better quality.Not a wasted trip though, by any means!
