Nice park for running, walking and taking the children to feed the ducks.Follow the paths to join onto Penfold pocket park in one direction or Blackthorn pocket park. Blackthorn has a children's park with swings etc..No organised car parking or public toilets.
This is a very friendly park to walk well behaved Dogs, sadly the Lake at the Berrydale end is stagnant due to poor maintenance issues. Do not let dogs swim in it, even the Swanns have left!

Nice linear walk to break away away from the roads and housing estates. Quiet. Nothing special in the way of wildlife, but great access to the fields beyond leading to Syston Park. Relatively clean - dog mess bins provided. Helpful signage. Well paved and accessible. Only thing letting this corner down is some of the local residents... Some fronting houses are a mess, sofas outside & flytipping, empty cans of beer.. high school boys driving dirt bikes illegally on the pathway nearly knocked me over!
I love this pocket park and come here in all seasons. A great place to stroll or sit in nature and find a little peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
