Room for lots more of improvement. Since the new contractors took over of the upkeep of Northampton it's a pleasure to notice a marked improvement. Some of the benches/seats need replacing, A few more litter bins and dogs excrement disposal bins could be installed. Lights need updating too please.

A beautiful park. Lots of different species of trees. It's bigger than you think. A couple of play areas. Thornton house sits in the park and it's once formal garden is linked to the main parkland.
Nice park for times that aren't busy. During term holidays and weekends there won't be enough swings, slides etc to cope with a large volume of children. It also would be better if there were a fence around the play park area to stop kids escaping and dogs getting in. Otherwise a nice little park.
