A great open area in the centre of Northampton with tea shop and open spaces. Decent play equipment for everyone
Park run every Saturday morning is very fun and friendly. Can be dangerous at night due to it not being very lit up. 5/5 would recommend to a friend.
Good Park, could do with more police patrol to keep crime down to make families feel safe. Could do in with investment in a big play ground instead of multiple small ones.
Nice in the daytime. Not a place to go after dark.Very dangerous to walk through or around at night. Even after all the lighting and warnings.Over recent years there have been lots of assaults and thefts etc.The restaurant has mixed reviews. I have personally not eaten here.
Had a very educating tour of theNorthampton racecourse that highlighted the uses the site has been put to since horse racing ceased in 1904. Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley appeared there with their travelling show and how it was acquired by the Ministry of defence who housed a Welsh regiment on the during the war. Very good for history buffs to follow up on.
