I popped in to get a reverse light changed on my Peugeot, not only was I firstly sold the wrong bulb but when the fitter went to my car he started to fiddle with the fog light, I told him where the reverse light was but he just asked for the book, pointed to the diagram & said that it was where he was working, I pointed out as the car was french it would be the opposite way round (& surely he should know fog lamp red, reverse lamp white) After a few more minutes of fiddling with the the fog lamp he thankfully gave up & said it would have to go on a ramp. I took the car to my mechanic next day who changed the right bulb in about 30 seconds. The staff are reasonably friendly but need a lot more training as it could be something serious one day.
Brought a battery from here. Poor customer service. We waited almost 30 mins for our battery to be tested. Advisory to buy a new one. Of which we did. After returning home ready to fit battery myself. To find its the wrong size. Phoned customer service line. The best they could do is have us return battery and they will install the correct one for free. What part do they not understand that I wanted to install it myself as I don't trust them, even more so now. Will return and want a full refund and some compensation for loss of time and driving around worrying if our car would start. Thanks a bunch Halfords. Named and shamed to follow on all public media
Smashed my rear lights tonight n my car wasnt road safe re no rear lights. Went to Halfords Riverside who totally lookef after me for over an hour, totally getting me roadworthy, ordering me parts and reassuring me after my accident. Really go the extra mile. Such super service. Robbie is an amazing member of the Halfords team. Awesome customer care!
Went into Halfords Riverside Northampton today to have a head light bulb replaced. A lady called Babs replaced it and she was a really lovely person, approachable, jolly and put us at ease, she was joined by another colleague Christian and they were both just lovely! Well done Halfords on your fantastic staff! I would definitely recommend you to family and friends, and thank you Babs and Christian
