Horrible people to deal with. In my experience; they tell their tenants one thing and their landlords another. When challenged, paperwork conveniently goes missing and the people who dealt with it have "left the company" and "taken their paperwork and communications with them".... Liars and bullies that don't admit to their own mistakes, resulting in long serving tenants (6+ years at one address without a single issue) being kicked out of their home and losing all of their deposit for work that was never actually carried out (new tenants were in the house in less than two weeks). Have only given them one star so I can publish this review.Would avoid at all costs.
Rented a property in kingsthorpe, Northampton and both your move and the landlord didnt seem to want help the house needed a lot or work doing, decorating, cracks all over the wall/ceilings, boiler needed replacing and re carpeting! Was in the property awhile and not a single penny on the property, it made health issues and left the property, since finding somewhere better the land land has had a cheap job done in the house! Beware when renting from your move!!!!!
They fully manage a rental property for me and the service throughout has been outstanding. Completely hassle free. I have been dealing with Peter Day who is the Lettings Manager and he has kept me updated with regular inspections and reports regarding the property. Professional & efficient. Great service keep up the good work!
So as students we letted a 5 bed room house and the stuff we have dealt with has been absolutly disgraceful. I can honestly say the people at this letting agent are 100% incompetent and i reckon a 5 year old could do a better job. To begin with we had debt collection letters sent to us as Toby Wallace had forgotten to let the department which deals with payments know that he had changed the payment reference that we use for bank transfers. Second of all we had viewings which we were not told about and on top of that some of the house mates were locked out of their rooms. Not to mention random people doing works turning up without any form of notice. Just to add the icing on the cake, Toby Wallace had told me and my friend (who is also my house mate) that we didnt have to pay a check out fee after we signed the contract as we had came through a different letting agent, only to then have the checkout fee deducted from our deposits. Upon disputing this he claims to not recall this conversation and that its our fault for not requesting this in writting as there is no evidence. Also, not to mention the going back and forth over a whatsapp group i mean, if that doesnt tell you about his unprofessionalism then i dont know what will. Never met such and unorganised letting agent in my life.
Have dealt with Sam Throw for many years as I work as a local mortgage adviser. He is brilliant at looking after his customers and ensuring the integrity of Your Move is upheld. Honestly say if I wanted anyone to sell my house, it would be him and his team.
