Have used before and always found ok however is looking tired and jaded now compared to other IHG similar locations. Not bad, but not what I expect from this chain for the money.
Hotel staff really helpfull. Hotel is looking a little tired.Rooms were not that clean
Bed was comfortable so I slept well. However it was also on wheels so it trundled forward when I tried to prop myself up against the wall to read. No Gideon Bible in the room to use as a wedge so reading in bed is not possible.Excellent shower. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was mediocre and expensive. Well located for access to town.
Superb rooms, staff, and breakfast. The best coffee I had in the UK. (French press.) Plenty of parking space. Highly recommend.
Works Christmas do. Food was good. Gluten free choices on the set menu for starter and main. No dessert option though - when asked, they provided me with the usual, 'can't be arsed to think of something tasty, here give her some chopped fruit' option. Not sure about bar prices, we had tokens.
