Excellent place to stay ...Staff are very helpfull and friendly
Not far from the M1 motorway and easy to find. The staff are welcoming and friendly, basic rooms but clean sheets and towels. TV , coffee and tea provided and if you need a hairdryer or iron/ironing board, just ask at reception and it's free. Beds are comfy. Toby carvery is next door but nothing to do with the hotel.
Nice hotel for the weekend it was easy to get too and lots of free parking available.Warm and basic rooms with extra pillows/towels and plenty of free tea and coffee in the rooms.A Toby Carvery is linked to the hotel and both a Shell garage and Tesco Extra are in walking distance.Side note: the Shell garage is expensive both with food and fuel (20p dearer than anywhere else). Overall I would recommend this hotel if you were going to stay in the area.
This is my second stay. The first time the toilet system did not work correctly and back flowed. The smell was terrible. They did not move me as they were full ? The second and last time I ever stay. Bedding was not changed floors were not hoovered and the shower would not drain correctly leaving you stood in 3 of water whilst you shower. Oh and a quick knock on door and a staff member burst in to my room. Luckily I was in the shower and had not just got out. Very poor standards at this hotel. Has good parking and access to services such as a petrol station and local supermarket and dominos pizza. Tea and coffee is free. Do not stay at the rear as it is opposite a dual carriageway. Extremely noisy even with the windows closed.
Place is sparkling clean . Every single Travelodge staff member we encountered was wonderful and friendly. Absolute bargain at 80 for the three of us for 2 nights. Conveniently located too next to a decent Toby carvery which opens from 7 for breakfast.
