Awful place. Luckily stayed only one night There's was a fight on our floor at about 5 am. No staff or security too be seen The room itself wasn't great. Bathroom sink was cracked, shower had nowhere to put your cosmetics while having shower. Couldn't sleep as was noise. The bed was comfortable, but that's it. So won't be staying in travel lodge ever again. Premier Inn, much better
Excellent customer service. We stopped there the Saturday just gone in a family room. The guy on reception went over and beyond. We asked him for directions to a surprise party we were going to. He went and printed a map and brought it to the room. Rooms were clean and it was a pleasant stay. Thanks
Great location , room was a bit too cold for my liking , good place to stay if your visiting the town ( young people going clubbing) you can have a nice drink no need to worry about who's driving, plenty of nice snack restaurants to hand too.
No parking unless you have a blue badge, I do but as I didn't have it with me I had to walk too far. Room was nice with the apparently minimal AC settings (it was really hot) no food apart from a small vending machine, (unless you want to go into the town which is pretty rough 2 nights and I saw police presence to 2 muggings, it was England vs Sweden though. Who can trust football? )
The location is good, however the cleanliness needs improved.I get the distinct impression of a wipe and go approach. The toilet roll holder is covered in a thick layer of dust, the carpet needs a good hoover, under the sink pipes are covered in thick dust, under the toilet pan has a mix of urine and bleach, toilet itself is discoloured. Tiles are cracked, staining on the floor.This could come across as overly harsh, however I've stayed in many travel lodges at the same price point that are of excellent cleanliness.I'm not fussed about "added extras" in a two star hotel, but I like the place to be clean.
