Much better now the rooms have been refurbished to the new standard and have lovely walk in showers. Before the refurb it was like stepping back in time. Lost 1 star because it still doesn't offer meal deals with the adjoining pub but the pub still charges Premier Inn breakfast prices (7 for continental!). Would rather it be completely affiliated or completely separate, then maybe I could enjoy a fry up for less than a fiver. The carvery was mediocre, not much joice of veg. But they did have passion fruit Kopperberg which was a plus.

Usual premier inn, reception was clean and tidy with pleasant staff. Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and clean and tidy bathrooms. The only complaint is the water pressure of the shower which was pretty useless. Breakfast was in the pub next door, usual breakfast plenty of it and pretty good for a chain pub. Slowest toaster in the world though but made up for by having bubble and squeak on the breakfast menu. Lovely views of the marina made even better with the beautiful weather, not sure the premier inn can control that?
